Donald Trump is doing a terrible job at nearly all of his presidential responsibilities, but one area he excels in is getting the rest of the world to hate America. More recently, the president has gotten North Korea’s Kim Jong Un to lash out at the U.S.
Earlier today, North Korean state media broadcast an editorial attacking Democrats and U.S. intelligence officials, blaming them for undermining the upcoming summit between Trump and Kim. This editorial also contained a threat that America could face “security threats” if the summit continued to be criticized. The state media said:
The Democratic Party of the U.S. and other opponents to the negotiations move overtly and covertly to disrupt them as supported by skepticism backed by all sorts of groundless stories and misinformation even at such a crucial moment as now.”
This likely makes Trump giddy as hell, because Kim has joined him in threatening America’s free press and is basically threatening the media to say good things about him or else. So as expected, Trump continues to express his optimism about meeting with Kim. Ahead of their summit, Trump tweeted:
Very productive talks yesterday with China on Trade. Will continue today! I will be leaving for Hanoi, Vietnam, early tomorrow for a Summit with Kim Jong Un of North Korea, where we both expect a continuation of the progress made at first Summit in Singapore. Denuclearization?”

These two men are a dangerous pair, and it’s obvious that Trump wishes he wasn’t in a democracy so that he could have a dictatorship like Kim.
