As with every single holiday since Donald Trump stepped foot in the White House, the president is ruining the spirit of the season for everyone.
Trump kicked off Christmas Eve by sending out an insane tweet about the Federal Reserve this morning, blaming the plunging Dow on everyone except himself. As the Dow was down 338 points this morning, the president blasted the Federal Reserve by tweeting this weird golf comparison:
The only problem our economy has is the Fed. They don’t have a feel for the Market, they don’t understand necessary Trade Wars or Strong Dollars or even Democrat Shutdowns over Borders. The Fed is like a powerful golfer who can’t score because he has no touch – he can’t putt!”

Lately, Trump has been slamming Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell more frequently over interest-rate hikes and stock market losses. It’s been reported that Trump wants to fire him as well, but remains confused about whether he has the authority to do so.
This morning, the Dow fell below 22,000 points, marking the largest drop in the worst December since the Great Depression in 1931. It’s interesting that Donald Trump was more than happy to take responsibility for things like the economy when it was going well, but now that things are slipping Trump is pointing the finger elsewhere.
We can expect far more tweets like this to come out today as Trump unravels before our very eyes. Now that the president is going to be spending Christmas in the White House instead of Mar-a-Lago, it’s almost certain Trump will be pouting and ruining the holiday for everyone.
