Donald Trump associates himself with some seriously shady, shitty individuals. He regularly and proudly cuddles up with numerous world dictators and has been known, on more than one occasion, to jump to the defense of friends like Brett Kavanaugh who have been accused of rape — though we can’t even say we’re surprised, considering all of the sexual assault and rape allegations that Donald himself has under his belt.
Most recently in the spotlight though, has been his relationship with billionaire financier Jeffrey Epstein who is currently facing a second round of disgusting sex crime charges. As a result of that, Donald’s relationship with Labor Secretary Alexander Acosta, who gave Epstein his first sweetheart deal, has come under scrutiny as well. Trump made it strikingly clear today where his loyalties truly lie — and it ain’t with the victims.
Speaking with reporters at the White House regarding Acosta’s handling of the Epstein sex crime case as well as calls for the Labor Secretary’s resignation, Trump went on the defense saying, “I do hear that there were a lot of people involved in that decision & not just him… he’s been a really great secretary of labor. The rest of it we’ll have to look at very carefully.”
So, essentially, Donald feels super bad for the guy that let Epstein off the hook but makes not a single mere mention of the countless victims that have suffered at the hands of Jeffrey, and by default at the hands of Acosta.
Trump then went on to, of course, attempt to distance himself from longtime pal Epstein, claiming that they had a falling out and haven’t spoken in 15 years. Though, who honestly believes that?
President Trump on Jeffrey Epstein: “I had a falling out with him a long time ago, I don’t think I’ve spoken to him for 15 years. I wasn’t a fan…I was not a fan of his…I feel very badly actually for Secretary Acosta.” pic.twitter.com/vtIOCUhH8s

It’s a sad time when you’re no longer even surprised that the president of our country defends the bad guy every damn time.
I’d imagine he’s just in hopes that someone will be as easy on his as Acosta was Epstein when he finally gets implicated in this disgusting scandal.
