President Donald Trump and many prominent Republicans have had absolutely hideous, disgusting reactions to the investigation into Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh’s sexual assault allegations. While the previous statements have been hard to believe, we may have just found ourselves a new winner in rape apologists. It will hardly surprise you because it’s Trump’s son, but it will make you furious.
While in Montana stumping for the GOP, Donald Trump Jr. and his girlfriend, former Fox News host Kimberly Guilfoyle, spoke to DailyMailTV. Trump Jr. decided to open his mouth and complain about the #MeToo era and the fact that men were being held accountable for their actions. In doing so, Trump Jr. actually said that he was more worried about his sons than his daughters. Little Donnie said:
I’ve got boys and I’ve got girls and when I see what’s going on now, it’s scary for all things.”
The reporter tried to clarify this statement and asked the president’s son who he was more worried about — his sons or his daughters? Junior said, “Right now, I’d say my sons.”
That’s right. Trump Jr., who has three sons and two daughters, just said he’s more scared that his sons will be accused of sexual assault than that his daughters might be sexually assaulted (which there is a 1 in 5 chance of). I guess we know who doesn’t intend on teaching their sons about consent and respecting women! You can watch this infuriating interview below:
While it’s not rare that Trump Jr. would say something offensive, misogynistic, or just stupid, this is on an entirely different level and has people fuming. Here are some of the responses:
Donald Trump Jr. Says Kavanaugh Accusations Make Him More Worried for His Sons Than His daugthers. If I had your father I would worry about them all. Look how his family turned out? Perverts all of them pic.twitter.com/4PX6ovzRbi

Donald Jr. says that after the Ford hearing, he fears for his sons. ? They won’t be able to attack women with impunity like their grandfather?
Trump Jr said “real victims” of sexual assault are the people most hurt by Kavanaugh hearings https://t.co/6mWgX21z17— Jorge Ortega (@jorgeortega1947) October 1, 2018
His comment reflects the misogyny of his father. There’s an astronomically greater chance of his daughters being sexually assaulted than his son being accused of same. Of course, he is a Trump…

It’s not hard to raise them and teach them that consent is the key word in any intimate exchange. Not hard to teach them rape and sexual assault are wrong. #shitforbrains

Absolutely disgusting. The apple sure doesn’t fall far from the tree in the Trump family.
