Donald Trump’s presidency is disturbing for many reasons. It’s obvious that there is zero empathy or mental stability in #45 and that he can fly off the handle at any time — a quality that no president or person with access to the nuclear codes should possess. But what has shocked America the most about The Donald is that he’s just really, really… dumb.
Trump sold himself to his fanbase as a successful businessman who made smart decisions and they ate it up. But now that the curtain of lies is being pulled back and Trump is being forced to perform his presidential duties on the world stage, he’s unable to hide the fact that he’s lacking significantly in the intelligence department. Every time Trump gives a speech or attends a major event, America ends up being humiliated because our president can barely put together complete sentences.
He also has no idea how the world works and won’t educate himself despite having access to any information he wants. We saw this seriously backfire earlier this year when Trump told the world that he actually thought that stealth jets were invisible. Remember that?
Trump made this remark while announcing his new tariffs on China, when he had to introduce the CEO of global aerospace technology company Lockheed Martin, Marillyn Hewson. First, he forgot Hewson’s name and introduced her as “Marillyn Lockheed — the leading women’s business executive in this country.” While that’s terrible, Trump usually spaces out and forgets what he’s talking about so that wasn’t even the worst part about it.
The real kicker came when Trump made a humiliating mistake in stating that F-35’s were invisible because of their stealth capabilities. Trump said:
We buy billions and billions of dollars worth of that beautiful F-35. It’s stealth. That means you cannot see it. Is that correct?”
Trump put Hewson on the spot, and she was probably already annoyed with the president for screwing up her name, so she just nodded. Trump said, “It better be correct.” This footage will haunt Trump for life:

Trump should know way better than this by now — because it’s not the first time he’s talked about these “invisible” jets. Last November, he bragged about how the military was getting more jets that “you literally can’t see” and stated that they’re “almost like an invisible fighter.” Maybe no one bothered to correct the president so everyone could keep laughing at him, but it’s more than likely that Trump was corrected and is choosing to ignore facts. He always does.
