Award-winning journalist Bob Woodward is one of the top people on Donald Trump’s sh*t list right now, after his book “Fear” exposed several bombshells about the president — but the author is far from done. Woodward just finished an appearance on CBS Sunday Morning, where he revealed even more damaging information about what goes on in Trump’s White House.
Trump has already flipped out enough over the revelations in Woodward’s book, and attacked the author nonstop over the last few days. Speaking about just how unhinged Trump gets when he’s upset about something, Woodward said:
People who work for him are worried … that he will sign things or give orders that threaten the national security or the financial security of the country, or of the world.”
Noting how dysfunctional and incompetent Trump and his team are, Woodward said what many Americans have been thinking all along:
You look at the operation of this White House and you have to say, ‘Let’s hope to God we don’t have a crisis.’”
Then Woodward started to back up the claims in his book. Shoving Trump’s attempts to discredit his book back in the president’s face, Woodward stated that he had interviewed over 100 people who were close to the president. Woodward said:
Multiple interviews with key witnesses. One person I interviewed nine times, and the transcripts of those conversations are 700 or 800 pages.”
When asked if he’d sought out aides who were bitter or had an agenda, Woodward stated:
Well, that’s just not true. Look, I talked to dozens and dozens of people, and have notes and documentation on lots of things.”
This is exactly the kind of interview that Trump did not want to happen, and judging from the president’s unhinged tweets this morning, he’s not happy about it. Woodward is giving credibility a book that will destroy Trump, and leaking even more details about the inner turmoil of the Trump administration, even when Trump is still trying to convince the country that everything is running like a “well-oiled machine.” You can watch Woodward’s interview below:
