While visiting Normandy, France, president Donald Trump delayed a 75th D-Day anniversary event and forced veterans to sit there waiting on him as gave an interview to Fox News’ Laura Ingraham in which he spewed hatred for Special Counsel Robert Mueller and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

Thousands of veterans, foreign dignitaries, and US officials, as well as members of the public, were left to wait — the entire ceremony on hold — as the president called Pelosi a “disaster” and Mueller a “fool” in the interview with Fox News.

“Nancy Pelosi, I call her Nervous Nancy, Nancy Pelosi doesn’t talk about it,” Trump told the Fox News host as an announcement was being made that the D-Day event would be delayed. “Nancy Pelosi is a disaster, okay? She’s a disaster. Let her do what she wants. You know what? I think they’re in big trouble.”

After taking a swing at Pelosi, Trump went on to attack his next favorite bullying victim, Robert Mueller, as the crowd gathered for the anniversary event continued to wait.

“Let me tell you, he made such a fool out of himself,” Trump said to Ingraham. “because what people don’t report is the letter he had to do to straighten out his testimony because his testimony was wrong.”

Mueller made his first public remarks in regards to his 2-year Russia probe on May 30th, in which he stated that he was unable to charge the president with the obstruction that he committed due to DOJ rules against indicting a sitting president. But he made it very clear that he and his investigators could not confidently say that the president committed no crimes.

Later, representatives for the DOJ, along with the special counsel, released a joint statement to clarify that Mueller’s office had decided that they would not be able to reach a conclusion about whether the president committed any crimes.

Trump then riffed on tariffs, which have been unpopular even among the Republicans who feel they have to support them in order to get reelected.

“When you’re the piggy bank that everybody steals from and robs from, they deceive you like they’ve been doing from 25 years, tariffs are a beautiful thing, it’s a beautiful word if you know how to use them properly,” Trump continued.

He also denied receiving any Republican backlash over his tariff disaster: “Republicans should love what I’m doing.”

After he finished with his tangent, Trump briefly touched on the reason he was in Normandy in the first place.

“Think of that — these were incredible, brave people who were just being blown up and you have the graves all over. These were people who knew they were going to die. It was, it was, horrendous,” he stated. “This was a very, very horrific day. But it was also a very special day, and it’s an honor to be here.”

Trump eventually made his way over to the D-Day event. But it just goes to show how little respect he truly has.
