Donald Trump has never made it a point to keep his racism a secret. In fact, I’d even say that his presidency has only strengthened his confidence in the matter. But last night, he took things to a whole new, even more sickening level when he visibly laughed and joked after one of his supporters suggested we just shoot immigrants at the border to prevent them from crossing into the US.
The suggestion was made at Trump’s campaign rally in Panama City Beach, Florida last night.
“When you have 15,000 people marching up, and you have hundreds and hundreds of people, and you have two or three border security people that are brave and great — and don’t forget, we don’t let them and we can’t let them use weapons, we can’t, other countries do, we can’t, I would never do that. But how do you stop these people?” Trump persuaded.
“Shoot them!” one rally attendee shouted, according to multiple witnesses. Of course, Trump busted into fits of laughter at the proposition because he’s a racist shitbag.
“That’s only in the panhandle you can get away with that stuff,” POTUS responded, as he continued to encourage the crowd as they cheered on the repulsive suggestion.
“Only in the panhandle,” Donald reiterated as he continued to chuckle.
This is far from the first time that Trump has used one of his campaign rallies as a platform to promote hate, violence, and racism. In fact, that’s what the majority of his 2016 campaign was built on — and it doesn’t seem like he intends to make any changes moving into the 2020 election. He knows that his base is just as hateful bigoted as he is — considering many of his supporters have been arrested for threatening and even committing violent acts against pretty much anyone that’s not white.
