President Donald Trump never misses an opportunity to completely disappoint the American people. Most recently, the president got himself into loads of trouble for his tense relationship with the press when he decided to praise a Republican congressman for assaulting a journalist last year.
When speaking about Montana Congressman Greg Gianforte, Trump brought up the time he beat up a reporter with a “body slam” and called him “my guy.” Trump said:
Greg is smart. By the way, never wrestle him. Any guy that can do a body slam… he’s my guy.”
Absolutely disgusting. But let’s not forget that this is truly Trump’s pattern and it doesn’t seem like he wants to repair his relationship with the press anytime soon. After all, no one can forget the time that Trump tweeted a fake video of himself beating up a CNN reporter, using the hashtag: #FraudNewsCNN. If you need a reminder, here it is:

Unfortunately for Trump, the media came to CNN’s defense on behalf of the entire free press. Comedian Mark Humphries and his team at Australian TV station SBS responded to Trump with their own fake video, which went viral in no time. In the video, Humphries wore a CNN logo on his head and began the video saying:
My name is CNN and I was assaulted by the President of the United States. The bullying started a while ago, mainly online. Donald Trump started calling me fake news, which was almost as painful as me having to call him President of the United States.”
That had to hurt for Trump. Take a look below:
But it didn’t take long before CNN responded for itself. After Trump posted that idiotic, irresponsible video, CNN destroyed the president in just two sentences. CNN said:
We will keep doing our jobs. He should start doing his.”
