Donald Trump’s fanbase is incredibly disappointed in their president today, as the childish, entitled POTUS just reopened the government after closing it down for 35 days to have a border wall temper tantrum that accomplished absolutely nothing. Now that Trump’s biggest fans are seeing how weak the clown they elected truly is, Trump’s diehard voters are having to pull through for the undeserving POTUS and defend him, even if their own faith in him is fading fast.
Trump and Fox News host Sean Hannity have a bromance that would make the president’s own wife, First Lady Melania Trump, green with envy. Trump has been known to go to Hannity for key decisions, ignoring the expertise of his own advisors. On top of that, it’s also been reported that Trump often speaks to Hannity at night before he goes to bed. But considering how Hannity has reacted to Trump caving in to the demands of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats, even he is trying to self-sooth while he sits in disappointment.
Earlier today, Hannity spoke about Trump’s concession on his radio show and all he could really do was insist that Trump will get federal funding for his wall… one day. While Trump is currently trying to do damage control by insisting he will declare a national emergency if he doesn’t get funding for his racist wall, Hannity is also desperately trying to pacify his rabid Trump-loving viewers. Hannity insisted:
Some of you say ‘he didn’t get any money for the wall. No he didn’t, but he’s going to.”
As usual, the plans for that are extremely vague and there is no real plan for how that’s going to happen. But what else can Hannity tell his viewers? Hannity himself is likely embarrassed that he has chosen to befriend and support a president who cannot keep ANY promises to his fan base. This pathetic response to Trump’s re-opening of the government shows just how little everyone still believes in him.
