Donald Trump is getting slammed left and right for his disastrous decision to pull U.S. troops out of Syria, but there’s one person who is absolutely thrilled about it — Russian president Vladimir Putin (no surprise). However, the White House is actively denying this.
Earlier today, White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders straight up lied during a scrum with reporters outside the White House. During the interview, she told a massive lie, denying that Putin was tickled pink about withdrawing troops from Syria, despite the fact that Putin has blatantly stated that he supports the decision.
During the interview, Sanders was asked, “what message does it send that Putin cheers the president and his own defense secretary [James Mattis] is upset about it?” Sanders said:
The idea that Putin is happy about this is ridiculous. He’s not. This puts a greater emphasis and makes them have to actually step up and do something, and do more in the region. It puts them at a greater risk. So I think that’s just silly.”

Sanders is saying this literally a day after Putin, who happens to be an ally of Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad, said that the United States “would be right” to withdraw forces from the region. Putin’s exact words were:
On this, Donald is right. I agree with him.”
On the other hand, Trump is lying his a** off, as usual. Pretending that he’s not owned by Putin, Trump is trying to act like Russia isn’t happy with his Syria decision:
Does the USA want to be the Policeman of the Middle East, getting NOTHING but spending precious lives and trillions of dollars protecting others who, in almost all cases, do not appreciate what we are doing? Do we want to be there forever? Time for others to finally fight…..

What else can we expect from the Trump administration?
