Donald Trump has been disturbingly overconfident about not only his chances for winning re-election in 2020, but his ability to save the GOP in the midterm elections despite how abysmal things currently look for Republicans. However, former President Barack Obama has just thrown Trump a major curveball, and the baby in the White House doesn’t like it.
Just yesterday, Obama made several endorsements for Democratic midterm candidates, officially stating that he would be hitting the campaign trail hard in order to help save America from Trump and his GOP buddies. Obama tweeted:
Today I’m proud to endorse such a wide and impressive array of Democratic candidates – leaders as diverse, patriotic, and big-hearted as the America they’re running to represent: pic.twitter.com/gWzalQhFas

The former president also said:
I’m confident that, together, they’ll strengthen this country we love by restoring opportunity, repairing our alliances and standing in the world, and upholding our fundamental commitment to justice, fairness, responsibility, and the rule of law. But first, they need our votes.”
This is scaring the crap out of Trump. Just last month, a survey revealed by the Pew Research Centre put Obama as America’s top choice of who did the best job as POTUS. Obama got 44 percent of votes, followed by Bill Clinton and Ronald Reagan. Trump only got 19 percent.
Let’s just say Trump is feeling the pressure and is furious to think that he’ll be competing with his predecessor to help his party win in the midterms. In response to the recent news, earlier today Trump bragged about how his approval rating was at 50 percent, which was reported by a right-leaning poll. The actual approval rating is really at 40 percent.

This is Trump’s normal response whenever he is feeling insecure and upset. We’re going to see way more of this as we move toward November, so be prepared.
