Donald Trump is about to have a hell of a year now that Democrat Nancy Pelosi is Speaker of the House. Trump had already been learning this the hard way, as Pelosi and the Democrats have refused to budge on the funding for his racist, completely unnecessary border wall. As a result, the president has been forced to continue his highly unfavorable government shutdown — a decision that has not only been killing his already terrible approval rating but is also ruining his own plans as well.
Earlier today, Pelosi brilliantly trolled Trump in a letter by telling the president he would have to reschedule his State of the Union address thanks to his poorly thought out shutdown. To top it all off, she suggested that he deliver it in writing!

BREAKING: Speaker Pelosi just told Trump in a letter that he needs to reschedule his State of the Union address, unless the government reopens this week. Main issue is security concerns due to the shutdown. Speaker Pelosi also gave Trump the option of delivering it in writing.

People on Twitter have been remarking how brilliant this move was, which will definitely make Trump even more upset.
Needless to say, Pelosi has been getting to Trump — especially if you consider all the time he’s spent attacking her on Twitter over the last few days. And still, Pelosi’s responses remain classy and witty as she finds the most elegant ways to troll the president — like this letter. Through her strategic treatment of the president during this shutdown, she has practically backed him into a corner where he looks terrible no matter what he does. And honestly, it’s about time we had some real leadership after the GOP had the House.
