It would hardly be a shock that Donald Trump, being one of the biggest misogynists and perpetuators of sexual assault in the United States, does not follow any appropriate procedures when it comes to the way his businesses are run.
The disgusting lack of ethics at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago club has just been exposed by an executive pastry chef who used to work there. The former chef has sued the resort, stating that he was fired after attempting to stop managers from sexually assaulting the young women who were employed at the club.
Graham Randall, the man who filed the lawsuit, stated that he had complained to the club’s human resources department that two of his married supervisors were sending unwanted sexual texts to two female employees in their twenties. Randall stated that one message requested that a woman showed him her breasts.
Randall involved himself in a sexual harassment investigation against the managers, but nothing was done besides giving the offending managers written warnings. The HR manager who Randall complained to stated that the behavior was “out of character” for the managers. Then six months later, Randall was fired despite the fact that he’d been an executive pastry chef at the resort since 2012.
The resort stated that his firing was because the club was losing money – but Randall knew that was a lie. Also in his lawsuit, Graham stated that the resort had “profited immensely from President Donald J. Trump’s election.” He stated that despite some cancelling at the resort due to Trump’s racist behavior, “this loss has been made up by other income flowing into the Club.”
As expected, a spokesperson for the Trump Organization has stated that Randall’s claims are “completely without merit” although they’re right in line with the president’s disgusting treatment of women. Randall is seeking more than $15,000 in damages, including lost wages, humiliation, and mental anguish in his lawsuit.
