Let’s face it, folks — not many Americans on either side of the fence are super happy with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi these days. The right hates her guts simply because Donald Trump told them to, and the left is beginning to get a little miffed with her because they don’t seem to be seeing much progress when it comes to getting the blowhard with a fake tan and a hankering for Russians out of our White House before he just shoots the whole country to shit.
Most recently, the liberal crowd has been pretty disappointed in what many perceived as a lax approach, and what some feel is a complete caving in by Pelosi when it comes to battling Donald’s harsh and cruel immigration policies — and specifically, the abolition of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
But of course, no one will ever match the disdain that millions of Americans hold for Donald Trump.
In an attempt to call on House Speaker Pelosi to take action and simultaneously protest the cruel evil that is Donald Trump and his administration, throngs of protesters took to the streets of San Francisco.
NBC Bay Area reported:
“Hundreds of demonstrators gathered in San Francisco Friday asking the most powerful politician in the Bay Area, and one of the most powerful leaders in U.S. government Speaker Nancy Pelosi, to use every lever she can to put a stop to ICE raids and cut off funding for controversial detention centers.”
“Hey hey, ho ho, racist ICE has got to go,” the hundreds of protesters chanted through the streets.
Carrie Sterns from protest group Never Again stated, “We’re here to stand up to Nancy Pelosi because we worked to get her into that seat, and we expect her to represent us, and not give away the $4.6 billion that she gave away to keep these camps funded.”
Americans are getting fed up. It is time to pay attention. This is your wake up call, House Speaker.
