Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) is still riding off the high of having a potential sexual predator confirmed into the Supreme Court. Even after rallying tirelessly for Brett Kavanaugh to get through the nomination process, Graham seems to have been given a second life and has been invigorated against the Democratic Party like never before in his career. In a Fox News interview today, the newly unhinged Graham came out, signaling that the GOP is more unstable than ever.
In speaking to host Chris Wallace, Graham admitted he’d “never been so pissed in his life” at the Democrats and promised he would get them back before midterm elections. Wallace brought up the fact that some Democrats planned on pursuing action against Kavanaugh if they win in the midterms he said:
Democratic congressman Jerry Nadler of New York who would, if the Democrats take the House become the House Judiciary chairman, has already talked about launching an investigation into alleged misconduct by Kavanaugh. Nancy Pelosi says she wants to see the FBI interviews and the second background check. It doesn’t sound like this is going to end.”
Graham reacted and said he was “going to the streets at the ballot box.”
We’ll know in November if that make sense. I hope everyone running for the House in these purple districts will be asked the question, do you support impeaching Judge Kavanaugh based on five allegations, none of which could be corroborated? Do you want an outcome so badly that you would basically turn the law upside down? All I can say is that this is going to the streets at the ballot box.”
Graham also said he was going to campaign against his Democratic colleagues with the sole purpose of destroying the party. He said:
I’ve never campaigned against a colleague in my life. That’s about to change. I’m going to go throughout this country and let people in these, you know purple states, red states where Trump won, know what I thought, know what I think about this process.”
Graham was totally unhinged in this interview, and the reason for that was later exposed as the interview concluded. In closing, Wallace brought up Graham’s creepy new friendship with president Donald Trump and asked, “now is it true that you’re going– for all this talk about obsequio, are you going to go play golf with the president today?”
Graham said, “Yeah, and I’m not going to give him any strokes.”
Holy crap. Expect both Trump and Graham to unleash on Twitter at some point today as their collective GOP madness reaches all-time highs. You can watch Graham’s interview below:
