Kellyanne Conway Took A Page From Her Husband’s Playbook, Blasted Trump To Major Media Outlets

I can't believe she'd do this to Trump!

Kellyanne Conway’s husband, George Conway, has created tension in the White House before with his frequent Twitter rants about how much Donald Trump sucks. Apparently, it seems as though some of that has rubbed off on one of Trump’s most “loyal” minions.

According to the memoir “Team of Vipers: My 500 Extraordinary Days in the Trump White House” by former White House aide Cliff Sims, Conway wasn’t nearly as loyal to Trump as she pretended to be. Sims described who Conway really was behind closed doors, stating, “She was a cartoon villain brought to life.”

Vanity Fair obtained and released several excerpts from Sims’ book this week, and the accounts of Conway’s anti-Trump behavior will shock everyone — especially the president. According to Sims, Conway made quite the habit of trashing current and former members of the Trump administration — including Trump himself. Sims wrote:

As I watched Kellyanne in operation over our time in the White House, my view of her sharpened. It became hard to look long at her without getting the sense that she was a cartoon villain brought to life. Her agenda – which was her survival over all others, including the president – became more and more transparent.”

And apparently, Conway was doing this right in front of the media. Sims described Conway as a “leaker,” despite the fact that she always portrays herself as Trump’s biggest defender. Sims noted that Conway bashed several top members of the Trump administration, including Jared Kushner, Reince Priebus, Sean Spicer, and Steve Bannon, giving away information to journalists from CNN, NYT, Politico, Bloomberg, and more. Sims wrote:

Kellyanne was playing a double game—putting a foot in both worlds—telling Trump and his supporters on Fox one thing, while bad-mouthing them to the “mainstream” media in private. It didn’t hurt matters with the latter group that her husband, George, was an increasingly frequent critic of the president on Twitter.

If the Trump administration was the Titanic, as many outsiders routinely claimed, then Kellyanne seemed determined to play the role of the Unsinkable Molly Brown. She wasn’t going to go down with this ship.

This will devastate Trump beyond belief — but that’s what he deserves for hiring such incompetent people.
