Even though this country has faced crisis after crisis, we have yet to see President Donald Trump act like a true leader. Instead of stepping up during natural disasters, mass shootings, and international issues, we’ve seen Trump do more tweeting and golfing than anything else during his presidency. Quite frankly, it’s pathetic.

Trump is a far cry from former President Barack Obama. He’s a far cry from any leader, really. America has never seen anyone as lazy, incompetent or emotionally unstable as Trump and even when we look at what other world leaders are doing, it’s hard not to get depressed at the clown in the White House.

To show what a true leader should be focusing on, there’s a great clip of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau reacting to Trump’s Twitter habit, and he perfectly summed up why Trump isn’t a good president. While participating in a forum hosted by the New York Times, Trudeau was asked if he had his phone notifications set to ping him when Trump tweets. Trudeau’s response could not have been more perfect. Trudeau didn’t even mean to do it, but he totally humiliated Trump and made him look like a child. Trudeau said:

There’s no question that the way the President chooses to speak directly to people through social media is a new wrinkle in international diplomacy.”

When interviewers asked Trudeau if he was “in bed, like the rest of us, looking at Twitter at night?”, Trudeau pointed out exactly how Trump was unpresidential:

No, I tend to focus on the things I need to do, on my job. If I get woken up at night, it better be for something more important than a tweet.”

Exactly. Leaders should be more focused on their job than being on Twitter and tweeting at all hours of the night. And of course, the audience erupted in laughter, because everything Trudeau said was true. You can watch this brilliant interview below:
