Iran Responds To Trump Reimposing Sanctions, Makes It Clear Trump Is Destroying America

Iran is absolutely right about this — and that's why it hurts.

While Donald Trump certainly causes enough embarrassment just within the United States, Americans have been horrified to see the president humiliate the country in front of the entire world. Over the course of his presidency, Trump has ruined several relationships with other countries, Iran being the latest.

It was recently announced that Trump would be reimposing sanctions on Iran, following the president’s decision to leave the 2015 nuclear deal in May (a move that no other parties in the nuclear deal agreed with).

Iran has just responded to Trump’s decision to reimpose the sanctions, and its statement perfectly points out just how much Trump has negatively impacted America. In a statement, Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said that America was “isolated” and hostile to the Islamic republic, and that it is hard to imagine coming to a negotiation with a president who rejected an agreement that Iran and many other world powers had spent the “longest hours in negotiating history” working toward. He said:

Do you think this person (Trump) is a good and suitable person to negotiate with? Or is he just showing off?

Of course, American bullying and political pressures may cause some disruption, but the fact is that in the current world, America is isolated.”

Other countries spoke out as well. EU diplomatic chief Federica Mogherini released a statement, signed by the foreign ministers of Britain, France and Germany, that said:

We deeply regret the re-imposition of sanctions by the US. We are determined to protect European economic operators engaged in legitimate business with Iran.”

Trump is ruining America — other countries see it and most Americans can see it, too. If only the GOP and Trump supporters would get on board.
