While Donald Trump has been lying about how he’s working in the Oval Office today during his pathetic government shutdown, Trump’s attempts to portray himself as anything but a reality television star have just been ruined by Fox News.
As Melania spends New Year’s Eve celebrating at the president’s Mar-a-Lago resort, Trump has decided to ring in the new year on Fox News’ New Year’s Eve special. And to make sure that he’s not going to get any tough questions or be fact-checked, he’s going to be interviewed by one of the network’s most devoted Trump fans, Pete Hegseth.
During this interview, Hegseth is expected to speak with Trump about his partial government shutdown and his goals for the new year. In Fox’s promo of the interview, the network teased that Trump would be talking about “the government shutdown, his New Year’s resolutions and what he hopes to accomplish in 2019.” Without a doubt, Trump’s going to say that he wants his racist border wall to finally become a thing, and he’ll keep blaming the Democrats for all his failures.
Trump will be talking to @PeteHegseth on the @FoxNews New Year’s special tonight… it’s reminiscent of 2015, when Trump rang in 2016 live from Mar-a-Lago… this year, Trump is at the White House https://t.co/htxxWt4xeZ pic.twitter.com/FNFGjLtCSU

Trump continues to remind America that despite being president for two horribly long years, he still has very little to show for it and would rather be on television, focused on ratings than doing the actual work to make this country great. Trump has made everyone’s 2018 truly awful, and the majority of the country hopes that 2019 will bring his impeachment.
