Fox News Condemns Trump Administration In Brutal Public Statement: “Fox News stands firmly with CNN”

The press is starting to stand together against Trump - and it's going to devastate him.

America’s free press is starting to stand together now, which spells big trouble for Donald Trump and his corrupt White House.

A few days ago, we saw the press unite against the Trump administration when White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders tried to ignore a question from reporter Hallie Jackson by calling on Jordan Fabian and trying to move on. Fabian was not about to let her get away with it and deferred his question back to Jackson, as Huckabee Sanders watched in horror.

Today, another supportive moment in the press took place. The Trump administration had just pulled a disgusting move by banning CNN’s White House reporter, Kaitlan Collins, from Trump’s press conference for wanting to ask him tough questions. Here’s a snapshot of what she was going to ask the president:

These are questions that America deserves to know, and any reporter should have asked. But Trump is terrified of CNN, and he’s done his best to discredit and isolate them from his presidency since day one.

Many members of the press were outraged by this, as the rest of America should be. Jake Tapper said it was “absolutely disgraceful behavior.” CBS News’ Steven Portnoy called it a “stunning outrage.” However, one of the most powerful reactions – and one that no one expected – came from Fox News, the only network who has defended Trump. Apparently, Trump’s ban had crossed a line that not even conservatives could ignore.

Fox News pool reporter Bret Baier condemned Trump, standing with CNN:

As a member of the White House Press pool – Fox News stands firmly with CNN on this issue and the issue of access.”

Baier also left this message for the president, which he saved until he was on-air:

This decision to bar a member of the press is retaliatory in nature and not indicative of an open and free press. We demand better.”

You know you messed up when Fox News won’t even defend you. We’d like to say Trump will finally learn a lesson about how to treat the press, but we all know that’s not possible. If the president turns Fox News against him, he will have no one left to defend him.
