Donald Trump was on a roll this morning, and it’s already backfiring in his orange face.
Trump’s tweets have gotten even more erratic since it was reported that Special Counsel Robert Mueller was looking at the president’s tweets during the investigation, particularly the ones targeting former FBI Directors James Comey and Andrew McCabe, in addition to Attorney General Jeff Sessions. Trump seems to think that he can now use his tweets to prove his “innocence,” but the exact opposite has been happening as the president unravels on a daily basis.
Today Trump tweeted about Mueller and all three of those men, demanding that Sessions “should stop this Rigged Witch Hunt right now, before it continues to stain our country any further.”

Does that sound like an innocent man? Former federal prosecutor Renato Mariotti doesn’t think so. Mariotti stated that Trump is basically handing Mueller evidence against him now:

Trump also tweeted about his former campaign chairman, Paul Manafort, who is on trial for bank and tax fraud. In another tweet, he referred to his campaign’s collusion as a “TOTAL HOAX” and trashed Comey, McCabe, FBI agent Peter Strzok and FBI lawyer Lisa Page.

It seems that Trump is still too dumb to realize that he is actually helping Mueller every time he tweets. While Trump’s tweets are annoying and humiliating, they might actually amount to something soon — his indictment.
