Earlier today, Donald Trump further humiliated himself by declaring a national emergency for his pathetic, $8.1 billion border wall. This was a decision that has been blasted on both sides of the political table, and he’s just received another brutal smackdown – from the U.S. Department of Justice.
ABC has just reported that the DOJ has warned the president that his national emergency will likely be blocked.

And thank goodness – because Trump has completely fabricated his border crisis and refuses to acknowledge that there really is no national emergency.
During a press conference earlier today, Trump said he had high expectations for his national emergency, stating that it’s “one of the easiest ones to win.” I’m guessing he’ll be devastated about this news about the DOJ probably blocking him on it.
But that wasn’t the only delusional, insane part of Trump’s press conference. The president also said he “didn’t need to” declare a state of emergency – which pretty much proved that there was no real emergency. Trump said he “could have built the wall over a longer time” but “wanted to do it much faster” – which will likely be used against him in court.

The president is a complete idiot, and that has really showed over his latest move. This “national emergency” is blowing up in his face as we speak and he truly deserves to be ridiculed for it. There is no emergency – and the DOJ knows it.
