He let Trump have it.

Donald Trump may have convinced his gullible followers that he’s a capable, accomplished businessman and masterful dealmaker, but those who are far more successful than him are sounding the bullsh*t alarm.

Billionaire Warren Buffett called Trump out earlier today, blaming the president for his company’s stunted growth and criticizing the undeserving POTUS for taking too much credit for America’s economic growth. Buffett complained about the president in his popular annual letter to Berkshire holders, acknowledging that the current market conditions are making it difficult for his Berkshire Hathaway Inc to buy larger companies. Buffett also stated that sinking stock prices had caused Berkshire’s company Kraft Heinz Co to have its lowest annual profit since 2001.

In his letter, Buffett reflected on the many Republican and Democratic presidents who had led the country since his beginning days in investing, starting in 1942. Criticizing Trump for taking credit for the country’s economic success, Buffett said:

It is beyond arrogance for American businesses or individuals to boast that they have ‘done it alone.'”

Buffett also suggested that Trump’s America-first attitude wasn’t healthy for overall economic performance and that America should “rejoice” when other countries are doing well — something that Trump rarely does. Buffett said:

Americans will be both more prosperous and safer if all nations thrive. At Berkshire, we hope to invest significant sums across borders.”

While Trump and his administration have not yet responded to Buffett’s criticism, many people took note about Buffett’s strong message to the president. Thomas Russo, Berkshire investor and partner at Gardner Russo & Gardner in Lancaster, Pennsylvania said:

It sent an extraordinarily strong message about how open markets and free trade end up helping all participants do better.”

Trump should consider Buffett’s advice, especially considering that his presidency has been a nonstop train of failures.
