Thanks to his horrendous presidency and the fact that, no matter what, he cannot be a decent human being, Donald Trump’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame has been destroyed several times by angry Americans. But yesterday, it finally got the makeover it deserved.
British-born street artist “Plastic Jesus” gave Trump’s Walk of Fame star a facelift by literally putting the star behind bars — a representation of what should be happening to the disgraced President of the United States very soon. Placing prison bars over the star, Plastic Jesus posted a video on Twitter stating, “Today I put @realDonaldTrump behind bars.”

This is one makeover that most Americans would love to support. In an email to Huffington Post, Plastic Jesus explained:
There have been calls to jail Trump since the day he was elected, and today he was certainly put behind bars. Although it was very quickly damaged by a Trump supporter trying to remove it the bars did appear to be stuck fast and were there several hours later ― to the amusement of thousands of passing tourists.”
Plastic Jesus said he secured the bars with instant-drying “industrial strength double-sided sticky tape” because “I wanted them to stay down but didn’t want a bill for thousands of dollars to repair the footpath.”
Plastic Jesus has done similar humorous anti-Trump protests before, all of which involved Trump’s Walk of Fame star, which the POTUS “earned” in 2007 for his work on the Miss Universe pageant. In 2016, Plastic Jesus mocked Trump’s U.S.-Mexico border wall by building a small wall around Trump’s star. In August, Plastic Jesus placed child-sized bulletproof vests in store windows around Los Angeles to make a statement about Trump’s nonchalant attitude toward school shootings.

We certainly hope Plastic Jesus is a bit of a psychic, because we can’t wait until it’s Trump’s face behind bars instead of his star.
