The news today, confirmed now in the New York Times, that former Trump personal attorney Michael Cohen had cut a plea deal with prosecutors in the case of paying off former Trump mistresses in advance of the 2016 election has opened up new possibilities in the ongoing saga, says Michael Avenatti.
The attorney for adult film actress Stormy Daniels tweeted Tuesday afternoon that the news of Cohen’s agreement with the prosecution signals an opportunity to proceed with Daniels’ civil case against the President and his legal team — which would allow Avenatti to depose Donald Trump under oath.
If this happens, Avenatti has declared that he will make all findings public.
