Trump has effectively made a complete and total ass of himself when it comes to this whole Hurricane Dorian debacle. The man literally didn’t even know where the damn thing was supposed to hit and now, nearly a week later, he’s still touting outdated information, attempting to use it as proof that he was right in his God-forsaken Alabama assessment all along — because he literally cannot stand it when he’s wrong or not able to take all the credit for something.
And now it seems that he wants all the credit outside of the US — as if he hasn’t caused enough issues in his own damn country.
In an effort to ensure that every spotlight possible was shining on him Trump took to Twitter this morning, taking a break from the Alabama ordeal, to make sure everyone knew that he was to thank for the fact that there weren’t more casualties in the Bahamas as a result of Dorian.
“Thank you to Bahamian Prime Minister Hubert Minnis for your very gracious and kind words in saying that without the help of the United States and me, their would have been many more casualties,” Trump’s tweet read before he went on to offer a few obligatory thanks to the “brave” people of the Bahamas, as well as FEMA and the US Coast Guard. “I give all credit to FEMA, the U.S. Coast Guard, & the brave people of the Bahamas.”

And yes… He did use “their” instead of “there.”
Now, it’s worth noting that the Bahamas aren’t even close to finished counting their dead after the catastrophic storm, with officials estimating that there are still hundreds, maybe even thousands of people unaccounted for.
But sure, yea, Trump was a super huge help.
Unsurprisingly, Twitter had a lot to say about Donald’s pat on his own back:
I’m sure IF the Prime Minister said this, he said *THERE* would have been many more casualties.
Also, is it TOO much to ask that you not make everything about yourself?
Ah, rhetorical question.

He was playing golf…

“Thanks President Trump for golfing while the Bahamas were getting hammered by Dorian. We wouldn’t have made it through had it not been for that birdie on 9.”

Trump’s new book, “How to Make Natural Disasters All About You,” hits bookstores on September 11th.

“And me”……This man is such a DICK! Patting himself on the back. If he walks and chews gum at the same time or pats his head and rubbing his belly at the same time is a big victory for him. The biggest victory anyone before him has never had. What a joke! This clown🤡

A country is decimated, and the death toll is likely to end up in the hundreds if not thousands, and all you give a shit about is that its Prime Minister said nice things about YOU? You’re a sick twisted malignant-narcissist sociopath… #Trump #HurricaneDorian #Bahamas

You just had to add “me” didn’t you?
You are without class and without empathy.#NaziNarcissist #NaziWhiteHouseWe deserve a better president than you.#VoteBlueToSaveAmerica #VoteBlue #VoteBlue2020 #DemsWillFixWhatTrumpBroke

Bahamians haven’t even finished counting their dead and Donald Trump is pulling a muscle kissing his own ass.
