Donald Trump is not having a good time watching all of the news coverage about him, after the president ended his pathetic 35-day government shutdown and agreed with his advisers who clearly told him to cave to the Democrats and re-open the government.
Right now, people are making fun of the president and criticizing his weakness left and right. He had backed himself into a corner, where he left himself no way to get out without making himself look bad. Now, his fanbase is more disappointed than ever that he’s being soft on getting his racist border wall funded. One prominent conservative who even wrote a book about Trump was perhaps most disappointed of all:
Good news for George Herbert Walker Bush: As of today, he is no longer the biggest wimp ever to serve as President of the United States.

Desperate to regain some sort of control over the conversation and to save his own ego from the avalanche of reports that are covering his concession to Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, the president has made a threat to make himself look like he still has a backbone. Trump has said that although he has agreed to re-open the government, he will declare a national emergency if he does not get a deal with Democrats on border security.
Trump made these comments to reporters at an immigration event at the White House earlier today, when he stated he would be re-opening the government until the middle of February. Trump said that in the background, they would be working on funding for his racist border wall.
This is yet another pathetic attempt by Trump to pacify his rabid fanbase, but Americans should still take it very seriously. If Trump declared a national emergency, the president could actually circumvent Congress and use funds that were supposed to be reserved for other more critical things and use them to get his wall built. No one should overlook this because although it’s quite insane, Trump is actually crazy and stupid enough to go through with it.
