Even after almost two years of nonstop failures and abysmal approval ratings, the President of the United States can still somehow find it in himself to brag about how his presidency is going. But something is about to put a major damper on that!

Literally hundreds of America’s top political scientists have come together to vote Donald Trump the worst president in U.S. history. Not modern history — the entire thing. This group of almost 200 political scientists ranked Trump even lower than President Richard Nixon, according to the 2018 Presidents & Executive Politics Presidential Greatness Survey.

This study is conducted every four years, surveying social science researchers from the American Political Science Association. The survey has the experts rank presidents on a scale from 0 to 100, with 0 being a total failure. Trump’s score ended up being ALMOST zero: He averaged a 12.34, replacing James Buchanan — the president who saw the US descend into the Civil War — as the new worst POTUS.

To make matters even worse for Trump, the man he is most jealous of — his predecessor Barack Obama — moved up 10 places from the 2014 results and is currently considered the 8th best POTUS in U.S. history — a spot that Trump will never even be close to.

Here’s the kicker: For anyone who thinks that these results may have been skewed, listen to this: the conservative political scientists voted Trump almost just as poorly as the Democratic and Independent ones. Conservatives voted Trump 40th out of 45.

But Trump should rest assured that he did come out #1 in one category: “Most polarizing.” While most presidents might take these results into consideration and try to course correct, we all know that Trump doesn’t have the ability to reflect or admit he’s been wrong. Trump’s Twitter is about to go off the rails once he sees this!
