GOP In Turmoil As Jeb Bush Begs Fellow Republicans To Go Up Against Trump In 2020

The GOP is about to melt down!

The Republican Party is NOT having a great time of it right now. Not only does the party have an insane president that almost everyone has acknowledged is ruining the country (or very close to being impeached or put in jail), but the party is becoming fragmented within itself thanks to the way this horrendous presidency is going.

There’s no doubt in anyone’s mind that the presidents of the past are horrified by what they’re seeing happen to this country as decades of hard work become undone thanks to a mentally unstable reality television star. Even the prominent Bush family, despite having a Republican legacy to uphold, could not bring themselves to support Trump in the 2016 election. And now, the youngest Bush is putting his family and the rest of the Republican party in a very uncomfortable position as he calls for someone to challenge Trump and steal the presidency from him in 2020.

Jeb Bush may just be bitter that Trump beat him in the last election, causing him to feel inadequate and unable to live up to his father and brother’s legacy. Or, he just might feel he has nothing more to lose and is desperate for a change. In an interview with David Axelrod, Bush practically begged his fellow Republicans to run against Trump and give the party a chance to redeem itself. He said:

Loading...

I think someone should run just because Republicans ought to be given a choice. It’s hard to beat a sitting President, but to have a conversation about what it is to be a conservative, I think it’s important.”

Considering how much Trump attacked Bush when he was running against him a few years ago, we can only imagine what the president is going to say about “low energy” Jeb once he hears this! You can watch this damning segment from Bush’s interview below:
