Donald Trump is one creepy dude. The country shudders with a collective cringe each and every time the man is anywhere near a woman. Even his own wife and daughter look wildly uncomfortable around him, and considering he’s literally publicly bragged about sexually assaulting women, we can’t say we blame them.
According to a recent revelation from Trump’s Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin’s wife, Louise Linton, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.
Linton dove into exactly why Don Jr. gives her the creeps in a new interview with LA Magazine.
“Donald Trump Jr. is not in the administration. He’s a big advocate of big-game hunting—lions and elephants. Do you feel uncomfortable going to dinner with him?” Maer Roshan questioned, after which the magazine noted, was a very long pause.
“Yes, I feel uncomfortable,” Linton finally confessed.
Mnuchin’s wife went on to attempt to rationalize the situation because Lord knows she does not want to be on the short end of the stick when it comes to Donald Trump’s ire.
“Look, I do what I can,” Linton asserted. “I was involved in a couple of meetings at the White House, one of them was a Pets for Vets thing. So there I was, sitting in the Roosevelt Room in a suit, with all these other animal advocates, and my husband walks past and he does a double-take, like, ‘Honey? What are you doing in the Roosevelt Room?’ (Laughs.) I’m like, ‘Hi Steve. I’m just here being a voice for the animals!'”
Louise also revealed in the interview that, “it sucks being hated,” after Roshan questioned why she was doing the interview considering the kind of press she has.
“I was deeply depressed for a while. But it sucks being perceived as a person that you’re not; it sucks being hated,” she explained.
While Don Jr. hasn’t gotten physically creepy with her, at least not yet, it’s clear that the Trump family as a whole can make anyone uncomfortable in a myriad of ways.
