For someone so staunchly anti-LGBTQ+, Vice President Mike Pence sure does love to kiss Donald Trump’s ass.
Friday afternoon, as Trump signed the first veto of his presidency to cancel the rejection of his border wall national emergency, VP Pence was given the opportunity to say a few words and he wasted no time in utilizing that opportunity to fawn over the big guy.

“I don’t know that I have never been more proud to stand next year desk than I am today… I know I speak on behalf of all gathered here and people across this country when I say, thank you for keeping your word, Mr. President,” Pence said as he flanked Trump’s desk. After his heartfelt proclamation of love, Pence proceeded to give Trump a big ol’ round of applause.
The funniest part is, this isn’t the first time Pence has “Stanned” Donnie. Back in 2017, during a cabinet meeting after the GOP tax bill was passed, Pence sang his praises for the president, stating, “I’m deeply humbled as your vice president to be able to be here. Because of your leadership and because of the strong support of the leadership of the Congress, you’re delivering on that middle-class miracle.”

Pence quickly caught a boatload of hell for praising Trump and a tax bill that benefits large corporations and the 1% while simultaneously tossing the poor as well as the middle-class to the dogs.
And lest we forget the time that Pence hailed Trump for coining the phrase, “the forgotten men and women of America.”

As if Mike Pence didn’t give the country plenty of reason to loathe him all on his own, we now get to hate him for sucking Trump ass so proficiently, as well. He’s like a little Trump drone, always sitting in the corner, ready to make Trump feel all better about the detrimental and disgusting decisions he makes on a daily basis.
Bet he goes through a lot of chapstick.
