Donald Trump had his sights set on a second term the moment he began his first. As soon as he stepped into the White House, the new president began an extremely obnoxious, unnecessary re-election campaign that would be a complete waste, considering that the president’s approval rating never reached anything worth considering for another four years.

America has been trying to get through to Trump with protests and polls, but the president continues to ignore everyone except for his own fanbase. But now, he just might have to listen. Earlier today on MSNBC’s Morning Joe a group of Trump supporters was interviewed and they pretty much popped the bubble Trump’s been living in.

As the hosts of Morning Joe talked to Trump voters, it was clear that they were going to look elsewhere in 2020 and would readily vote for a Republican primary challenger. Host Joe Scarborough said:

The four people that voted for Trump are still with Trump, even if one of them wouldn’t use Trump’s name — he said, ‘I voted for Pence.’ But they said they would vote for him again in the general, but it was very interesting.”

But during the interview, Scarborough presented the Trump voters with the possibility of a challenger, and most of them were ready to jump off the Trump train in a second. Scarborough said:

I said, ‘What if Mike Pence or Nikki Haley ran against him in a primary?’ They said, ‘Oh, we’d be totally open to that.’ Which was interesting, you wouldn’t have gotten that with Barack Obama and Democrats 18 months in, you wouldn’t have gotten that with George W. Bush supporters.

Every one who said we are behind Donald Trump, said, ‘Oh yeah, if Nikki Haley ran against him, if Mike Pence ran against him, oh we’d certainly consider that.”

Perhaps Trump voters aren’t as foolishly loyal as we once thought. That, or their president has disappointed them far beyond the point of forgiveness. You can watch Morning Joe analyze the results from the voters below:
