Donald Trump likes to brag about his abilities. A lot. The president has boasted about everything, from his ability to have great judgment of people and administration members to his masterful negotiation skills. As we’ve seen throughout his presidency, the president has been proven to be absolutely horrible at all of these things — and yet another one of his lies have just been called out.

Trump once claimed to have “one of the greatest memories of all time,” and thanks to a supercut video from NowThis News, we have become well aware that Trump can’t even remember simple things like people’s names. Now to be fair, many people do have a problem remembering the names of people they just met. But one would think that if they were the President of the United States and giving a speech in front of millions of viewers, that they would make a little effort to rehearse — or at least know who they were talking about!

This supercut video shows Trump struggling time and time again to remember simple names. It includes humiliating mispronunciations and forgetting of simple, frequently used names like former Speaker Paul Ryan, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, Energy Secretary Rick Perry, and National Security Adviser John Bolton. These are names no one should have any trouble saying or remembering — all but McCarthy have been around in the political scene for ages — and yet Trump cannot seem to get a grasp on them.

And this guy is president?! Let’s not forget that Trump is also very particular about when his memory doesn’t work — especially in court. When Trump was deposed in 2016 in a Trump University lawsuit, the president said “I don’t remember” a total of 35 times, likely in an effort to save his ass!
