Trump Storms Out Of Situation Room, Has Tantrum After Democrats Say He Won’t Get His Border Wall

I can't believe this actually happened.

Earlier today, Donald Trump once again proved to the entire world that he is a child stuck in an elderly man’s body.

The President of the United States actually stormed out of a White House meeting with top Democrats after House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer communicated to the president that they would not fund his racist, ineffective border wall project even if he ended his ridiculous government shutdown. And of course, he tweeted about it after:

Just left a meeting with Chuck and Nancy, a total waste of time. I asked what is going to happen in 30 days if I quickly open things up, are you going to approve Border Security which includes a Wall or Steel Barrier? Nancy said, NO. I said bye-bye, nothing else works!”

On the South Lawn of the White House, Schumer explained what happened:

We saw a temper tantrum because he couldn’t get his way, and he just walked out of the meeting.”

House Minority Whip Steny Hoyer echoed, “He said it was a waste of his time.”

Pelosi said Trump “seems to be insensitive” to how the government shutdown impacts federal employees who are not being paid. Referring to the loan Trump got from his father, she joked:

He thinks maybe they can just ask their father for more money. But they can’t.”

Vice President Mike Pence also spoke on the matter, telling reporters outside the West Wing that Trump had abruptly ended the meeting after Pelosi said Democrats would not guarantee funding for his wall. Pence also said that Trump had brought candy to the meeting to make himself look more agreeable:

The president walked into the room and passed out candy. I don’t recall him ever raising his voice or slamming his hand. This is a president who feels very strongly about his commitment to see to the security of the American people.”

This is yet just another monumental embarrassment for Trump and America.
