The latest tell-all book from a former Trump administration aide is Cliff Sims’ memoir, “Team of Vipers.” It hasn’t even been released yet, and it’s already making Donald Trump lose his mind as the president becomes more and more nervous about what this book might contain.

Tell-all books about a president have never been more popular than in Trump’s administration, as most former aides jump at the opportunity to expose the president once they stop working for him. Sims’ book is no different, and it paints a pathetic picture of what it’s like to work for Trump.

Apparently, the info in this book is so damaging and insulting to the president that White House sources have told Politico that Trump is “very pissed off” about the book. One former White House official said:

Loading...

The president is sort of chomping at the bit to tap this guy and tweet something to the effect of, ‘I didn’t know who this guy was. He taped videos.'”

Of course, if Trump had nothing to hide, there wouldn’t be a reason for him to be so angry about it, right? Although Trump is furious about the book, his White House advisors are warning him not to attack Sims because it would only make more people want to read his book. They are also reminding Trump that lashing out is “beneath” the stature of the president – although something tells me that Trump is going to attack Sims anyway because he lacks any sort of self control or emotional regulation.

Once again, Trump has been screwed over by his own terrible judgement and his tendency to hire people who will turn on him. A White House ally told Politico that this pattern of tell-all books from former aides is not going to stop, because Trump continues to do whatever he wants. This ally said:

The president’s been warned about lots of hires that shouldn’t have happened, and he’s still hired them.”
