Trump Once Said A Statue Of Melania Should Be Erected At Ground Zero To Commemorate 9/11

This is nauseating.

Lately, all Donald Trump has been able to talk about is how disrespectful everyone but him is to this country. He kicked things off with a racism-fueled attack against four Congresswomen of color over the weekend, telling them to “go back where they came from” and it’s all been downhill since then. After that racist Twitter attack, Donald has reiterated his childish, hateful “just leave” remarks at every given opportunity — a completely derailed “Made in America” speech, a press gaggle at the White House before his departure for his North Carolina rally, and of course at the rally last night, where his deranged base absolutely ate it up, chanting “send her back.”

We honestly wouldn’t be the slightest bit surprised if his 2020 campaign slogan turns out to be “send them back.” He’s just that proud of his white nationalism at this point.

Now Donald is attempting to indicate that he has so much respect for this nation, in contrast to those in Congress and the American citizens that are working so hard to fix everything he’s fucked up, but evidence of the contrary is beginning to circulate all over social media — like pretty much anything Trump has tried to claim, i.e. Epstein, E Jean Carroll, etc.

A September 11th, 2002 clip of Donald appearing on the Howard Stern Show is now making its rounds amid all of this controversy, and what he had to say on the very first anniversary of our nation’s tragedy was anything but respectful.

The clip begins with Trump making the suggestion that he “build a television tower there” on Ground Zero. To which Stern replied, “a statue of your girlfriend would be perfect right there” instead, referring to Melania who had not yet married the the-real estate tycoon.

“Well, that would be an idea,” Donald replied as Stern’s co-host Robin Quivers sickeningly joined in, “nobody’s going to fly into that!”

To make matters worse, another voice in the background added, “I’d like to fly into that!”

No. Donald Trump does not get to run his mouth about respect for this country as someone who once bragged about the idea of building a statue of his immigrant girlfriend on Ground Zero.
