Trump Mortified After Fox News Makes Startling Move In Support Of Kavanaugh Accusers

Fox News may have just gotten a conscience.

Today, the Republican Party got torn apart thanks to the brave testimony of Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, the first woman to come forward to accuse Trump’s Supreme Court Justice nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault.

Much of the country was rallying around Ford and condemning Kavanaugh as the GOP continued to crash and burn with midterm elections right around the corner. And if that didn’t make Trump and the GOP nervous enough about what’s going to happen in November, what happened on Fox News earlier today definitely sent them into a panic.

In a rare move by the Trump-loving conservative network, Fox News decided to stand with Kavanaugh’s accusers and fire contributor Kevin Jackson just hours after Jackson had the nerve to call Kavanaugh’s accusers “lying skanks” on Twitter. A spokesperson for the network announced:

Kevin Jackson has been terminated as a contributor. His comments on today’s hearings were reprehensible and do not reflect the values of FOX News.”

The network should be commended for this rare show of solidarity with women, but if you took one quick look at Jackson’s tweets you would realize that the network would have suffered tremendously if they didn’t do something to remove Jackson. Jackson’s tweets today were absolutely disgusting. One tweet stated that Ford’s “academic problems came from her PROMISCUITY!” He said:

Dang girl, stop opening your legs and OPEN A BOOK!”

And there’s much, much more. Here are just a few screenshots of Jackson’s tweets, which fortunately got him fired.

This should terrify Trump, as his own favorite network has turned on him and is supporting the accusers of his SCOTUS pick. Trump counts on Fox News to soften the blow of everything and to back him up when no one else will — but it looks like Trump will have to look elsewhere this time.
