Trump Goes On Monday Morning Rant, Responds To Omarosa Like Only A Guilty Man Would

It looks like Donald Trump is overcompensating for something.

It was a very long day for the Trump White House yesterday. The Sunday news cycle was seemingly bottomless and filled with story after story pulled from the pages of former aide Omarosa Manigault-Newman’s new memoir Unhinged: An Insider’s Account Of The Trump White House.

Not only did the reality show villain reveal unauthorized tapes from inside the White House Situation Room — which would be a terrifying development if the recording hadn’t shown she was absolutely telling the truth about the treatment she got from Chief of Staff John Kelly — but she even spilled the details of the non-disclosure agreement Team Trump wanted her to sign in order to work on the campaign.

Today, the President is firing back, and it is NOT a good look for him. In fact, it wouldn’t be a good look for any president to be responding to accusations from a book, let alone in a series of tweets guaranteed to be read by literally millions and millions of people.

When Donald Trump is cornered, his first instinct is to make up a nickname for his adversaries — Crooked Hillary, Crazy Bernie, Lyin’ Ted — and then never stop using it. It looks like after three tweets, Donald has settled on “Wacky Omarosa” for Manigault-Newman.

But in the interim, he called her stupid, repeated his “lowlife” comment from yesterday, and as usual, claims to not have had much contact with her at all, as he says about anyone he no longer wants to be associated with.

America isn’t being governed. We’re babysitting until we get a new President.
