Trump Gets Desperate And Uses Fake Quote To Attack Obama, America Exposes His Lies Immediately

This is such a desperate move, even for Trump.

Today, President Donald Trump solidified himself as the ultimate source and perpetuator of fake news when he tweeted out a fake quote, feeding a total lie to his supporters who would undeniably eat it up. The quote was about how much better GDP was under his leadership compared to former President Barack Obama — which makes perfect sense, because Trump can only curb his jealousy and claim to be more successful than Obama if he lies.

Trump bragged on Twitter:

‘President Trump would need a magic wand to get to 4% GDP,’ stated President Obama. I guess I have a magic wand, 4.2%, and we will do MUCH better than this! We have just begun.”

This quote actually doesn’t exist. At all. Obama had brought up a magic wand during a PBS town hall in 2016, and he was actually mocking Trump when he said it. Obama was drawing attention to the former reality television star’s promise to bring back jobs when he said:

Well, how exactly are you going to do that? What exactly are you going to do? There’s no answer to it. He just says, ‘Well, I’m going to negotiate a better deal.’ Well, what, how exactly are you going to negotiate that? What magic wand do you have? And usually the answer is, he doesn’t have an answer.”

As usual, Trump’s inspiration for this quote can be traced back to Fox News, as the network aired a related segment just minutes after this tweet went out. In the segment, Washington Free Beacon writer Elizabeth Harrington brought up Obama’s ‘magic wand’ comment from 2016, stating that Obama “said that Trump would need a magic wand to get to 4% growth.”

Here’s the clip, where Trump barely listened and took this quote completely out of context:

It should be noted that Obama’s real comment had nothing to do with GDP growth — it was actually referring to unemployment. But when has Fox News or Trump ever cared about getting the facts right? Nevertheless, Americans were quick to protect their last real president and lash out against the lying imposter in the White House:
