Former Acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe has recently released a new memoir, The Threat: How the FBI Protects America in the Age of Terror and Trump, and let’s just say it’s hit a nerve for the president.

Like many of the books that have come out against Trump, McCabe’s memoir contains some extremely damaging details about the president. In the book, McCabe suggests that Trump might be a Russian asset, which set Trump off beyond belief earlier today during a press spray.

When Trump was asked by a reporter about McCabe’s briefing with Congressional leaders regarding an investigation into the president because he might be a threat to the country, Trump threw a colossal hissy fit in front of everyone and tried to make McCabe look bad. He said:

I think Andrew McCabe has made a fool out of himself over the last couple of days, and he really looks to me like a poor man’s J. Edgar Hoover. I think he’s a disaster.”

Trump also tried to soil McCabe’s character, stating that anyone who read the Inspector General’s report would ask themselves, “how could a man like this be involved with the FBI?” Trump repeated that McCabe was a “complete disaster.” You can watch Trump absolutely lose it below:

Let’s just say that Trump’s going to find himself freaking out many more times about McCabe’s book. McCabe is currently doing interviews to promote his memoir, which speaks at length about the president’s involvement with Russia and the many stages of planning that the FBI explored to protect the country from the president, including a suggestion to remove Trump from office.
