Trump “Eager” To Fire His Intel Chief After He Publicly Criticized POTUS’ Relationship With Foreign Adversaries

His administration is falling apart.

Rather than a fortress of solitude like one would hope the United States government would be, Donald Trump’s administration is more reminiscent of one of those revolving doors you’d see in Trump Tower. Job security under Trump’s reign is little more than a laughable concept these days given that Donald is near-constantly either firing someone for hurting his feelings — or someone is penning their resignation letter in hopes that they can make it out before “unhireable” is effectively stamped on their forehead. For Christ’s sake, everyone that’s left in that circus seems to have “acting” attached to their job title anymore.

Now reports are indicating that Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats is up next on Trump’s proverbial chopping block after the intelligence chief made numerous public statements that undermined Donald’s public ego trips, specifically in regard to his chummy relationship with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.

According to a report from Axios today, “President Trump has told confidants he’s eager to remove Dan Coats as director of national intelligence, according to five sources who have discussed the matter directly with the president.”

The news outlet noted that Donald has been scheming Coats’ termination “for months” now and quoted a source familiar with the situation saying that the removal of the intelligence chief would take place “sooner rather than later.”

Coats specifically spoke out against Donald’s Helsinki meeting with Putin last year, telling reporter Andrea Mitchell that he “needed to correct the record” and he wished Trump had “made a different statement.”

In addition to criticizing Donald’s most prized relationship with the Russia dictator, Coats also went after Donald’s admiration of and confidence in North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un — ultimately testifying before Congress earlier this year and completely deflating Trump’s boast of the denuclearization of North Korea.

Of course, Donald has absolutely no desire or even the ability to handle constructive criticism or a challenge to his ego. So after Coats embarrassed him, the only logical thing Donald could come up with is canning him. Because it’s obviously the mature and presidential thing to do, right?
