He got exactly what he deserves.

Donald Trump’s entire administration is sitting on the bad end of a whole lot of scrutiny from the American people for a myriad of reasons, the main one being the thousands of migrant children that are currently detained in what can only be described as concentration camps at our southern border — ripped from the arms of their parents, living in absolute squalor without access to the most basic of human necessities, such as a toothbrush, showers, acceptable food and water, or even a place to sleep. The conditions are downright inhumane.

The fact of the matter is, you would be jailed for treating an animal this way, and Trump and his administration are doing it to real, live, breathing human children. Disgraceful is an understatement. And the American people are beyond fed up with it.

One staunch supporter of Donald Trump and his cruel, inhumane immigration policies is Texas Senator Ted Cruz. He has repeatedly put his big bird nose right in the middle of the mess, championing for Trump and his barbarism — which led him to a less than welcoming encounter at the Los Angeles airport.

Video footage posted to Twitter depicts Senator Cruz at LAX and shows him flashing a smile as a group of people recognize who he is. But his grin did not last long as the gathered people began to taunt him.

“We will not be silenced,” one man shouted at the Senator.

“Free the children, free the children,” the gathered crowd chanted at Cruz as they closed in on him with their fists in the air until a man shows up to break up the protesters.

Throughout the entire thing, Cruz appears extremely uncomfortable, anxiously moving and squirming about. Though, I suppose when you’re so publicly called out on your bullshit, it can make a person a little antsy.
