There’s nothing that makes us realize just how badly Donald Trump is failing or what a disgrace to America he is quite like his predecessor, former President Barack Obama. Whenever Trump f*cks up (on a daily, sometimes hourly basis), we’re reminded of the grace, compassion, and measured leadership Obama possessed. That, and the fact that Obama isn’t an egotistical maniac who only cares about himself.
As many Americans prepare to celebrate Thanksgiving, we must remember that not all Americans will have food on the table. Obama, who has been the President for ALL Americans, lent a hand yesterday to fight hunger and help Americans in need when he crashed a food bank in Chicago. This was a beautiful gesture before Thanksgiving, and one that will truly help individuals and families this year. Meanwhile, Trump is heading to his Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida for the weekend. Truly, these men could not be more different.
Dressed in casual attire and latex gloves, Obama visited the Greater Chicago Food Depository and worked alongside the volunteers to prepare and package food for those in need before the Thanksgiving holiday. Proving that he is still a wonderful role model to our children, Obama told one child volunteer, “You guys are doing such a great job helping out. I’m really proud of you.” The child responded with a smile that would have never been awarded to Trump. You can watch Obama’s visit to the food bank below:

The food bank thanked Obama and said, “We believe no one should go hungry, especially this time of year, and that’s why we’re working to address the root causes of hunger in Chicago and Cook County.” Obama responded by thanking the volunteers and raising awareness:

During Obama’s presidency, he and his family have volunteered at food banks several times. Trump, on the other hand, cannot even get his disaster relief right. The disgraced POTUS has regularly MADE JOKES to hurricane victims and people who have suffered tragic events. Now more than ever, we are wishing we had Obama back in the White House.
