Notes From Trump Insider Reveals Trump’s Own Lawyers Were Afraid He Obstructed Justice

This is extremely suspicious.

Donald Trump may be bragging about how he’s free of any obstruction charges (even though that’s a highly inaccurate interpretation of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report), but not even his own lawyers believe he’s innocent.

Notes from a Trump loyalist and insider have revealed that Trump’s White House lawyers were terrified that the president might be obstructing justice — and these notes were used to help Mueller.

According to the Washington Post, Annie Donaldson had served as former White House counsel Don McGahn’s chief of staff and she took extremely detailed notes about McGahn’s interactions with Trump. In these notes, it was laid out how McGhan had to repeatedly prevent Trump from breaking the law and doing things that might make him guilty of obstruction of justice. The Post wrote:

McGahn warned the president that some of the actions he took — such as asking Comey to let go of his investigation of Flynn — could make him vulnerable to accusations of obstruction of justice.”

Also in these notes was how the White House’s lawyers were scared about what would happen if Trump fired former FBI Director James Comey. White House counsel to former President Barack Obama Bob Bauer has weighed in on the details from Donaldson’s notes and said he’s never seen the White House attorneys have to work so hard to prevent a president from breaking the law. He said:

It is impossible to imagine that these extensive notes were taken for any reason other than to document questionable presidential conduct and the counsel’s office response. It speaks volumes to the extraordinary challenges facing lawyers in this White House, and it raises the question: If this is what is necessary for lawyers to do their job, then how is it a job the lawyers should agree to do?”

This is NOT good for Trump!
