Mueller Report Will Be Sent To Trump So He Can Redact What He Wants Under “Executive Privilege” Standards

Donald Trump and Bill Barr are burying the Mueller report!

The entire country has been waiting impatiently for the results of the Muller report after its conclusion last week — and quite frankly, we deserve it after the hell Trump has put our nation through. But it seems as though every time we get close to it, something jerks it away again. Attorney General Bill Barr released a 4-page joke of a summary to the public, and after today it looks like that’s all we’re going to get.

Kate Irby of McClatchy reported that, according to Senator Lindsey Graham, Barr will be allowing the White House access to the full report and permitting POTUS himself to edit and redact the contents as he sees fit before releasing it to the public.

This is confirmation that Trump and his administration will make damn sure the true contents of that report never see the light of day or the public eye. The mere fact that Barr is claiming that the release will take weeks is proof of that. If Trump were innocent there should be no logical reason that the report couldn’t be released to the public today. But instead, regardless of how “exonerated” Trump is claiming to be, he will be spending the next several weeks painting black bars over any information that portrays him as anything less than an American hero — which is likely to be most of the report.

It appears that Congress is going to have to sue to see anything more than the Donald Trump version of the Mueller report and possibly even subpoena Mueller himself to testify.

For someone that’s been incessantly barking about being vindicated and victimized, Trump and his cronies sure are jumping the gun to guarantee that report doesn’t make it any further than the White House.
