The tweet that Donald Trump sent last night in which he insulted NBA basketball player LeBron James is going to be his most regretted tweet in the entire history of his Twitter account. America has come forward in droves to tell Trump to go f*ck himself and leave James alone.

At nearly midnight last night, the President of the United States had yet another moment of blinding mental instability and attacked two high profile black men. He said:

Lebron James was just interviewed by the dumbest man on television, Don Lemon. He made Lebron look smart, which isn’t easy to do. I like Mike!”

That turned out to be a very big mistake. CNN has already come forward to defend their reporter, Don Lemon, and issued a perfect comeback in the process. But the last part of Trump’s tweet, the part where he tried to insult James by saying “I like Mike!” (referencing NBA legend Michael Jordan), has just come back to bite him in the ass. Jordan has responded.

In a statement to NBC News that will have Trump trying to erase that tweet from the internet, Jordan responded to Trump’s disgusting attack. He said:

I support LJ. He’s doing an amazing job for his community.”

You can watch the report about Trump’s tweet, along with Jordan’s response, below:

Meanwhile, James is unbothered and living his best life as he celebrates the opening of the I PROMISE school, a school he created to help underprivileged children and their families. Good for him.

Right now James himself has tweeted since the President’s insult last night, but so far he appears to just be ignoring Trump:
