The White House is hiding something...

Donald Trump and the Republican Party protect their own and will truly do anything to hide the fact that they have been responsible for some of the most vile acts that have happened in America since Trump got into the White House.

Today, it was revealed that Trump’s Department of Justice has charged bomb attacker Cesar Sayoc with five federal crimes, but they’re ignoring the biggest one he deserves — terrorism. What Sayoc did by trying to mail bombs to Democrats and Trump critics was absolutely terrorism, and Trump’s team is refusing to call it what it is. Attorney General Jeff Sessions said:

I want to remind everyone that the defendant in this case as in every case is innocent until proven guilty. He has been charged today with five federal crimes including interstate transportation of an explosive, illegal mailing of explosives, threats against former presidents and certain other persons, threatening interstate communications and assaulting current and former federal officers. For these charges the defendant faces up to 58 years in prison. These charges may change or expand as the investigation proceeds. This is a law and order administration. We will not tolerate such lawlessness, especially not political violence.”

Sayoc is, without a doubt, a domestic terrorist and the Trump administration is doing everything they can to avoid saying it. If you look at The Patriot Act’s definition of terrorism, you’ll agree that Sayoc fully deserves this label. Sec. 802 of The Patriot Act says:

A person engages in domestic terrorism if they do an act “dangerous to human life” that is a violation of the criminal laws of a state or the United States, if the act appears to be intended to: (i) intimidate or coerce a civilian population; (ii) influence the policy of a government by intimidation or coercion; or (iii) to affect the conduct of a government by mass destruction, assassination or kidnapping. Additionally, the acts have to occur primarily within the territorial jurisdiction of the United States and if they do not, may be regarded as international terrorism.

Trump and his team are cowards for letting this go. You can watch Sessions’ remarks below:
