Here’s The Real Reason Prince Charles Wouldn’t Meet Trump During U.K. Visit; It’ll Crush POTUS

This is the exact reason Prince Charles wanted nothing to do with Trump.

One thing that we all know about Donald Trump is the fact that he wants to be treated like royalty and hates when he’s rejected or snubbed. That’s why the president flips out on Twitter whenever another world leader or important person stands up to him.

When Trump visited the UK recently, he met the Queen alone, which was a rarity considering that Queen Elizabeth is usually accompanied by some of her royal family. However, Prince Charles and Prince William had turned down the opportunity to meet with the President of the United States when he visited England, rejecting the Tweeter in Chief. An anonymous source said:

This business of Prince Charles and Prince William not being there for the Trump visit was a snub. They simply refused to attend. It’s a very, very unusual thing for the Queen to be there on her own. Usually she is accompanied by somebody. Prince Charles has been substituting for Philip a lot recently.”

Trump likely felt the snub, too, as he acted like an utter buffoon during his trip to see the Queen and humiliated her. But while Trump may have been shocked at the partial refusal of the royal family to meet him, it makes total sense when reviewing Prince Charles’ prior comments.

Prince Charles recognized a long time ago that Trump was making some very scary parallels to Nazi Germany. In an interview in 2016, Prince Charles said on BBC:

We are now seeing the rise of many populist groups across the world that are increasingly aggressive towards those who adhere to a minority faith.”

This has deeply disturbing echoes of the dark days of the 1930s. I was born in 1948, just after the end of World War Two, in which my parents’ generation had fought and died in a battle against intolerance, monstrous extremism and an inhuman attempt to exterminate the Jewish population of Europe.

That nearly 70 years later we should still be seeing such evil persecution is, to me, beyond all belief.”

Yikes. Prince Charles was sending a warning to the world about Trump, and begging America to learn something from history. Even two years later, Prince Charles’ words ring truer than ever. Clearly, his refusal to meet Trump earlier this summer was in defiance of Trump’s evil agenda.
