Fox And Friends Hosts Get Into A Legit Fight With Kellyanne Conway On Air, Brutally Insult Trump’s Border Wall

Trump was probably yelling at the TV as this happened.

There’s no network that has supported and stood by Donald Trump like Fox News has, but it seems as though the network and its hosts are finally coming to terms with reality and realizing that the president is doing a terrible job. Early this morning, the hosts on Trump’s favorite show, Fox & Friends, got into a combative exchange with White House counselor Kellyanne Conway and actually made Trump look REALLY bad on air.

In the segment, the hosts spoke with Conway about Trump caving on his campaign promise to get his racist border wall funded, which has been a disaster from the start. Fox host Steve Doocy reminded everyone that Trump was “very clear he’d be proud to shut down the government if he didn’t get funding for the wall.” Doocy asked Conway, “What’s up with that stand?”

Conway did her usual routine of not directly answering the question, and stated that the funding fight wasn’t about the wall. She also lashed out at Democrats for resisting border security, but Brian Kilmeade brought her back to the topic and said: “Kellyanne, we know all of that, but the president has no leverage!”

Conway was about to lose her mind, as she likely expected a nice easy interview from Fox News. She responded, “That’s not true,” and was stunned again when Doocy reminded her that not even spineless House Speaker Paul Ryan is for the wall.

The exchange remained heated, with Conway really getting testy when Ainsley Earhardt implied that Trump was “softening his stance” on his wall despite threatening a government shutdown multiple times. Conway responded by saying Trump would get the funding somehow, and fired back at Congress for shooting down the president’s terrible ideas.

We never thought we’d say this, but it’s nice to see the hosts at Fox News actually putting the heat on the Trump administration and holding Trump accountable for his irresponsible, unpopular campaign promises. You can watch the interview below:
